well had few days off from work and got lots of golf in. i played 36 holes at my home course and also got to play 18 holes at 1 of the top golf courses in the state of Arkansas called Diamante Country Club. it is a private golf course so obv i know some people in high places!!! it was very nice and i put up an 82 not bad for just stepping on that course. They have had a few nationwide events at the course, i obv did not play the tips lol b/c that would been hella long course and the 82 i shot woulda been 102 lol.

i got in a little poker but not much. when i got back friday night from golf i played 2 mtts at Cake. a 30$ bounty which i bubbled that and a 20$ turbo bounty and i actually squeeked in a final table 5th/ 236 runners for ~190 counting my bounties i took. so that was nice.

got few more days at full tilt to finish up that 100$ bonus should be no problem doing that.

ok got most of my br moved over to full tilt. i played some mtts on saturday and lets see the results. full tilt was having a 10r mini ftops event and me and http://thepokerprovince.blogspot.com/ decided to play it and swap 10% profit on a a 30$ buyin basis. he finished about mid pack no money and i bust just before the bubble with a8< qq aipf to a guy who had been very active. so here r my ftp results.

not much going here just been working last 2 nights and then i will have a 3 day weekend. played some 100nl and 50nl and 50plo at cake last 2 nights have not faired well down aobut 150 there for about 800 hands total. played about 300 hands at ftp at 25nl and 25plo with the money i have there and up about 100 there so thats good.

should be able to get some hands in and tweek my HEM some more tonight. really enjoying the stats that if offers and i really think it has stepped my game back up.

been looking over the SCOOP schedule at stars and should be able to play few events not sure if i will try to get backed for some or just play on my own. would like to get backed for some of the larger events if that is possible.

so i decided to buy holdem manager. and working on tweeking that for all my sites that i play. i really like it so far really give u lot more stats to check out. and u can a dif hud setup for whatefver game or tables u play or tourneys or sngs. the only thing still cant use hud at cake but at least it will track ur hands u play so i can keep better record of my win/losses there and hands histories.

fulltilt also gave out some bonuses so i got 100$ to clear from that so that will give me something to look forward to as i play some cash at ftp and tweek the hud like i want it on HEM. also gonna play some mtts tonight at ftp and stars small buyins to work on the hud for the mtts.

i finally got 2 days off work worked the last 7/8 night shifts so really do for some family time and get some stuff done around the house.

well i took litte break from poker when my br got real low and i lost supernova at stars. so i took what i had and went to cake to grind it back. well that turned nice b/c i netted a 3k score there in a 50$ mtt i sat in for 10$ so that bosted the 500$ BR i had back up and was back in business. so january was a good month for the br.

i cashed out 1.5k and went on a casino trip / valentines trip with the wife. i played in 2 mtts at the oklahoma state championship. a 120 side event and the 340$ 100k guranted state championship. played for hours in both did no good u can see my hands on my twitter account if u wanna look. @dankimbal42 is my twitter name.

so now i am grinding cash games at cake 100nl 200nl and some 100plo and 50plo. with some mtts mixed in at ftp and stars when i move money over there. it has been going good until the last few days i have hit road block and have not got anything going and i also played out of my BR a bit in some mtts i should have not got into but was feeling it u know how that is.

so i gonnaa cut that out and grind it the right way.

well the month of feb was not a bad month could have been better but i cannot complain here r the cash game results

i also played few sngs such as the 20$ dons and did well in them with about a 12%roi
i didnt play 2 many mtts but did ft a 12/180 turbo saturday for 4th place finish.

i made almost 16k in vpp which is is just a little under 1k worth of fpps for concierge. i decided just concierge 500$ worth of fpps and i cashed out 1k check.

i do have some good news on the home front. we have made a huge step in our life and have purchased our first house. its not brand new was built in 95 but is in great condition and has totally been redone inside with new central heat and air system to boot. my wife is very excited and has already been buying up things to decorate the new house i should have pics posted on my facebook in the coming days as we get moved in and such.

well i did not reach the 20k vpp goal for feb but it was a short month and i got lazy so for the month of march i should be able 2 get the 20k vpp mark. well thats all for now

well lets start off by saying that january was a very good month for me at the cash tables here r the results

25,920 hands at 100nl 6max +2,020 at almost 40$ an hour.
3,909 hands at 50nl 6max -111.

obv i need to play more than that but that got me by anyways. i also play lots of mtts through out the the month and u can check those results at opr or sharkscope for the sngs b/c i am to lazy to look at those results...lol.

well as far as the tunica trip goes we got there on a thursday and stayed through sunday. i played 2 mtt a 240$ 6max that i totally donked up and was out fast..lol and at 340$ mtt that i actually won a 45$ 10 man sng to so i freerolled that up woot.
i played in that for about 6 hours and busted right before the dinner break with aq<66 aipf. i really couldnt get anything going in that and played a shortstack most of the mtt. play lots of cash games 1-3nl and did no good there. we also hit the roulette table and that was fun. for the trip mtts,cash games, food, drinks i finished down 675~ so i sent my receipts in and got it all concierge with the supernova status so that helps pay for the trip so it really was just a big freeroll.

got to hang out with yankees31 and he is 1 cool cat. prob gonna hang out with him in vegas as well b/c he is getting a sweeeetttttttt pad for wsop. so wife and i will prob spend a weekend there with him during the wsop. so prob gonna save up my fpps for that weekend.

well just been grinding it out since the last update and as per requested by a few folks i will put a graph of what i put done for the month so far.

that includes 13,777 hands of 100nl 6max and 3,909 hands of 50nl which was at the start of the month b/c i was waiting on my rakeback from my fpps b/c i cashed out some.

we r just a few days away from going to tunica so i am ready for that. hopefully 1 of us can run good in 1 of the mtts or at least maybe the cash games. i fig those will be pretty soft as well. well thats all for now.

well its about time to update i guess first of all here r the month totals.

i had to play some 50nl earlier in the month while i was waiting on my 1k conceirge from pokerstars b/c i had to take out 1k for new tires and rims for my truck that i was desperatly needing. so obv i suck at 50nl and i think its the devil...lolz. anyways played few mtts right at about break even nothing special there to report.

i did go play live yesterday played a 35r which i was in for 85$ after rebuy period with about 7.5k stack. there was about 40 entrants and i bubbled the final table of that. then i grinded for 3hrs at the 200nl table to finish +40 there. i was playing that waiting on the evening 50$ mtt +%5$ add onn for 1k so i played that. there was 27 players only in that. i ran over my first table and got slapped by the deck before break and had around 16k in chips. when we went to the ft i had around 15k with the blinds at 4/800 and dbling every 20mins so now it became a shvoe fest. well people got knocked out and there was 4 of us left. bbis 1k with no antes. i have 13k. utg limps folds to me i look down at 44 and shove he calls with a9 flop a9x gg me i could not catch up so i was the bubble boy ..lol. of the money. i went to play live to get in some practice for the tunica trip less then a week away.

i am ready for that for sure should be a good time so far its me, justin (bigtimin),dickerson (arkansasmatt), and his brother in law. going and then we r meeting up with yankees31, and some other ithers there. so surely 1 of us donks can ft someting and win some monnies.

now i would like to thank my wife for leting me go on this trip this is my first poker trip with actual money that i can gamble with from winning monnies at pokerstars. i like the fact that she supports my poker and knows and beleives in me that i can win and make a good partime job out of this game because that what it has become..lolz. so to show some of my appreciation i am gonna give her 300$ to spend on whateever she wants while i am gone. aint i a good husband???.......i luv u babe.

well i finished up getting nova on new years eve at around 2pm that day. for the monthly totals of december here goes.

i also play few mtts the last sunday of the month and broke even there with really no deep finishs. for the year i ended up with 100,014 vpp. that last week of play really sucked b/c i was up around 1.5k for the month and dropped 1k that last few days but o well it happens.

for new years wife and i went out with some freind and got tore up and had a great time. i hope everyone else had a safe and great holiday. as far as christmas we had a great 1.

i also got to go on the greatest duck hunt of my life that people would probably pay thousands of dollars 2 go on and here is a pic from that. we killed 47 ducks in 45 mininutes it was unreal. my gun barrel was smoking.

hopefully i will get 2 go on another 1 of those hunts. my son really liked seeing all those ducks....lol

well so far its been slow month and have not got the playing in i should have. well from the 15th to the 21st i played 4,742 hands of 100nl +72.80. then yesterday i finally hit the heater played 1,127 hands of 100nl +591.80. so wooooot to that.

we got all of our christmas shopping done finally. we r going to have a great christmas drake is gonna be very happy thursday morning after santa visits him. the wife also got 2 go shopping and buy her some new clothes. i prob get me some hunting stuff here and there so that will be my christmas.

i got my 7 day break after tomorrow so should get lots of playing in and finish up this supernova quest. 5,545 vpp to supernova

well i played 11 11$ hypo turbo double shootouts this morning to the sunday warmup and went 0/11...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. lastnight i played the 50/50 at ftp and went out like 35th ish for 204$ and i played the 50/70k at stars and did no good in it. also played a 27$ turbo 8k and no good there. i have played a few sats at full tilt and really dont have anything to report about that.

wife and i went and played live the other night at the local indian casino. its about 1hr drive. i played 200nl and had a very soft table. i played from 11pm to 6am finisedh +150. prob finished up less than that with rake and tips and a few drinks.

i have played 1,998 of 100nl since last report at -128. have not got much going there.

i might go play in a live mtt this evening depending on how the morning online playing goes. it is a 60$ mtt and usually get about a 100 runners with decent structure. if i can get some guys from the live home game i play in to go i will o as well aight thats all for now.

well finally broke the break even or being down stretch for the month. i played a few sats at full tilt and have done well. i played 10 sats at ftp and finished +270 mainly b/c i won a sat to the 750k.

i decided to mess around a bit at 200nl 6max and what a nice run it was 821 hands

I 4 tabled it and played well was kinda nervous since this is the biggest i have played online but there was plenty of donks to exploite u just had to look for them. i also played 972 hands of 100nl +184. i had my biggest pot ever won during that short stint at 200nl and here it is. little on this hand this fish was 72/35 and was very aggro.

well i have got lazy already on this blogging so i will update what has happen from dec 1st to now dec 7th.

i have played 8,441 hands of 100nl and -197. i was down 700 at 1 point and even at 1 point but have not been in the green all that long. i feel that i am playing well but have made a few bad plays and got u/l a few times so with the fpp and such i really am not that down i guess.

i also played a bunch of mtts and sats at ftp here r the totals on that
played a total of 25 mtts and sats combined. with 8/25 cashes which put me right at about even over there.

i have not got in the hands that i would like so i gonna have 2 buckle down and get 2 it.

well i finished november by playing a bunch of mtts on sunday. it did not go so well i only had 3 cashes out of 19 mtts. i played full tilt and pokerstars for a total of 536$ worth of buyins and with my 3 cashes only finished down 257$

i would like to send crongrats to my boy yankees31 for his first sunday major score in the sunday warmup 750k gurantee for 105k...was a sick score and he ran awesome the whole mtt. mclelands,dickerson, and i will be hanging out with yankees31 in tunica on jan 23rd. that should be lots of fun and maybe we can take down some mtts there at the wsop circuit.

Duck season

well start off by saying opening day of duck season was fun we had 10 ducks down in the water but only was able to get 8 in the boat with us was fun morning. there was 4 of us total that hunted. we should have had more but rusty shooting i guess we miss a few. we just shot a mix bag of teal,ringnecks,blubill,wooducks

well poker has been going ok. i played 2 5r pca sats to a 109$ tourney and won both of those friday. so i moved my w$ up some more. i played a bunch of million sats sunday and did no good and finished -135$ or so at those. cash games have been up and down and have got in 1,844 hands -395. i played 115 hands of hu vs bigtimin and came out winner there +66. thanks justin....lol. my horse that i staked for 4/180s came out -18$ he had one final table and few cashes. br still around 2.3k so no worries probably gonna try to take a few dollars off again this week.

well we took drake to the movies to watch madagascar 2. it was a real funny cartoon...anymore there is a lot of adult humor in them cartoons. we got home and i decided to fire up some pca sats and cash games. well the pca sats did not end up well. i ended up down about 90$ and the cash went just about the same. for some rason my pt3 is not wanting to bring me up stats so i think i was like 900hands at 50nl 6max -55$

so i was like what the hell lets play a 33$ 10k gurantee that was registring and i asked on irc if anyone wanted to play also and swap 10%. well i got 2 takers from ith yankees31 and tyhunt. i had a quit 1st hour finished around starting stack the second hour if got on a heater and chipped up to about 15k which was top 10 stack at the time. next hours went about the same slowlly chipping up. the last 2 tables yankees kept telling me 2 turn the heat up so i did and won a nice flip on the final table bubble kj>q8s aipf. that put me at about 5/9 going into the final table. we was about 7 handed and i raised from sb vs bb with 84o bb flatted, flop came 446 rainbow. i checked bb bet i miniraised he reminiraised i flatted turn came k hearts i shoved and he callled with 69o lol and i took down monster pot 2 put me at around 400k. few others got knocked out and i went on 2 mow down the rest 4 handed. they would not play back at me. 3 handed i raised from button with 23o sb shoved. i was getting 3-1 so i called he had kjo.....flop 23k.....bingo and i held was overe 1.1mill hu vs 550k or so. BB was around 30k at this point and going up soon ...we got it in with kq vs his ak and he held up to flip the chips. the very next hand i shvoe a2s vs kx and i double back in it. i ended up finishing 2nd for $2,329. there was 555 entrants in the feild.

so i had to ship 10% of winnings to yanks and tyhunt. tyhunt also finished 24th. this was my biggest cash ever so i am very happy.

i would like to thank yankees31 and another friend for the rail. poker jon from england joined late on msn to rail me also and gave some good advice.

well i gonna take some $$$$ off now to pay for a new pair of waders for duck season and take the family to branson over thanksgiving to see the holiday of lights at silver dollar city. so that should be fun

well the last 2 days have been rough at the poker tables. friday was wife birthday and she liked her flowers. when i got off work saturday we went out and had a drink and small dinner. we r gonna take drake 2 the movies tonight for the first time in his life. we r going to watch madagascar 2. looks like it will be funny kids show.

on the the pokers friday i played 1,528 hands and finished -84.75. so that was not bad but saturday started off well i played a 27.50 hypo turbo sat to the 109$ pca qualifier. there was 5 seats in it and i managed to win a 109$ seat. i kept the w$ and that put my w$ to 180.14. the i hit the cash tables and it all went 2 hell fast. i played 1,646 hands -364.65 ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is right. i took a couple bad beats lost like 2 flips then i tilted off probably another 3 buyins. so ya i gotta get that shit under control. i had a 80/20 fish at 1 of my tables just wearing me out. and that pissed me off.....LOL.

Cleaned house

well the wife wanted me to clean the house up spotless for her birthday that is on friday so this was the only day to do it b/c i gotta work the next 3 days. so drake and i got to it today and cleaned it up.

i still managed to get 2k hands in today. i played a total of almost 3 hours combinded. i played 2 sessions of 1k hands each.

i gotta work tomorrow so not sure how much hands i will get in but should be able to get 2k at least, that is the goal anyways.

so i could not sleep tonight and decided what the hell lets try this blogging stuff and see if it can motivate me more into grinding more hands or realive some stress when i dont feel like playing.

well lets start off by what i played today.

i also play a bunch of sattys to the pca and such these sattys where 2r to the 33r and some 5$ hypo turbos to a 22R. those hypo are real crazy but very +ev in my opinion

finished that at +64

i bought pokertracker3 the other day after my trial was up. i am very happy with it so far. i would recommend that to any poker player playing online.

well most of you know that i am going for supernova status at pokerstars i got 19,410 vpp to go. i hope this blogging can encourge me to get that faster i need to get that by christmas so i can concierge our christmas gifts. and maybe get a new laptop b/c i really could use 1. well thats all for now
